PERRY Co., Ky. (WYMT) - Faculty and staff with Perry County schools lined up at the John C. Combs Arena at Perry County Central High School for a special fair on Thursday.

The employee benefit fair is celebrating its tenth year, with local vendors showing up to give school employees gifts, giveaways, and prizes.

Chief Financial Officer of Perry County Schools Jody Maggard said there were already 200 people in line before the fair even started.

“Everybody sort of shows up to say, ‘hey, we we love what you guys do in education, public education, supporting kids,’” Maggard said. “You can’t go wrong with that, right? So, everybody wants to be a part of that.”

Employee Benefit Specialist Rayeanna Emery said she looks forward to the fair every year.
