ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Three teenagers have been accused of stealing a car and leading Irondequoit police on a high-speed chase.

Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Irondequoit police officers responded to the parking lot of The Home Depot, after receiving a tip about what was believed to be three teenage boys in a stolen car, trying to steal another car.

Officers said they spotted the vehicle and tried stopping it, but the driver sped away on East Ridge Road, before turning on Culver Road, and then onto Route. 104. Police stopped the chase when the vehicle was allegedly reaching 100 miles per hour over the Bay Bridge.

A short-time later, Webster police later responded to a cul-de-sac near Tomar Drive after receiving reports that three teenagers had abandoned a red Hyundai before running away.
