What could be the beginning of a new chapter for Fenwick’s Quaker Meeting House began last week, as Pelham earmarked $10,000 for critical repairs and set the stage for broader discussions about the heritage building’s future.

A staff report presented to Pelham council outlined the results of a building code and accessibility study of the Quaker Meeting House at 1141 Maple St. in Fenwick. Staff recommended addressing several life safety deficiencies as a first step in preserving the structure and preparing it for potential future uses.

Repairs are expected to cost $10,499.50, coming out of Pelham’s 2025 facilities budget.
