CLEVELAND, Ohio — Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts found Ben VanSumeren off a swing pass, and the end zone looked wide open for VanSumeren.
Then came Grant Delpit out of nowhere with a big hit on the fullback.
Only thing is, live tackling was not allowed during Thursday’s joint practice between the Browns and Eagles.
“I told him man, I could’ve...you know,” Delpit said.
Yet, there’s something to be noted from the unintentional “tackle” from the integral strong safety entering his fifth year, and the mindset of the unit.
