OWINGS MILLS, Md. —
The Western Golf Association's Evans Scholars Foundation offers young caddies the opportunity to attend four years of college at little to no cost to their families.
High school students with good grades, financial needs and at least 80 loops as a caddie can qualify for the program. The program sends the students, like Loyola Blakefield's Kevin Flowers, to one of 20 outstanding colleges — including 15 from the Big Ten.
