A new ATM is set to be installed in Bridge of Allan after community concerns over the loss of services during store improvement works. ‌

The Co-Op store in the town is undergoing an extensive revamp, with fears from locals and business owners about the need to travel elsewhere to remove cash and access vital banking services during the works. ‌

However, following pressure from the community council and local politicians, the body in charge of ensuring access to cash in communities have confirmed it has approved the need for a free-to-use ATM following an assessment. ‌
