A new report examining the impact of inflation in metro areas found Dallas is faring better than most major cities and seeing the lowest inflation impact.
According to WalletHub, when it comes to areas with the worst inflation problem, meaning how it’s impacting everyday people, Seattle ranked No. 1. Dallas came in at No. 23, which is good news.
Costs are rising here, but not as fast. Compared to someone in Seattle, this means your budget stretches a bit further, and there are fewer price jumps on essentials such as rent.
WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said Dallas is one of only two metro areas in negative territory over the last two months, at -0.30%.
