A Philadelphia man has been sentenced for carjacking a 73-year-old man by gunpoint in 2021.

Zyair Dangerfield-Hill, 24, was sentenced to 199 months in prison and five years of supervised release for the armed carjacking of a 73-year-old man in April 2021, United States Attorney David Metcalf announced.

Dangerfield-Hill was charged by indictment in July of 2021 with one count of carjacking and aiding and abetting, and one count of carrying and using a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence and aiding and abetting, officials said. In April of 2025, he was convicted on both charges at trial.
