TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Tallahassee police officer was injured Thursday night after being involved in a crash, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
The crash took place at about 8 p.m. Thursday in the area of Lake Bradford Road and Eppes Drive, TPD wrote in a press release Friday morning.
An officer was traveling south on Lake Bradford Road, “not in emergency mode, en route to a call for service,” the police statement wrote. However, a northbound vehicle attempted to turn left onto Eppes Drive, “violating the officer’s right-of-way,” police said.
As a result, the officer suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, per TPD. Since then, the officer has been treated and released, according to police.
