Lil Yachty is getting dragged by fans and the family of George Floyd after he mentioned the late Minnesota resident in an unreleased song.

The drama unfolded on Thursday night, August 14, while the Concrete Boys founder was on PlaqueBoyMax's livestream. During their studio session, Yachty gave Max the green light to play one of his unreleased songs, which features a questionable bar that references Floyd's tragic death. The 46-year-old Minneapolis citizen died in 2020 after a police officer, Derek Chauvin , forced Floyd to the ground and pressed his knee down on his neck while trying to arrest him.
