A pack of beagles will soon be up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, which recently helped remove 34 dogs from an overcrowded home kennel in Northwestern Massachusetts.

Ten of the beagles are now in ARL’s care, and all are named after bagels: Everything, Blueberry, Pumpernickel, Asiago, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, Egg, Marble, Poppy, and Jalapeño Cheddar.

“The dogs range in ages up to 8 years old, are friendly and appear to be well-fed,” ARL added in a news release.

The organization said it worked alongside the Franklin County’s Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Team to retrieve nearly three dozen beagles from the overcrowded home kennel. The owners surrendered the dogs, and local authorities are investigating, ARL said.
