A list of the best regional hospitals in the country compiled by U.S. News and World Report includes two in North Dakota.
Nationally, more than 500 regional hospitals were recognized. The rankings, first published in 2011, include general hospitals – as opposed to specialty hospitals – that have earned a high performing rating in at least nine procedures and conditions.

"Across service lines and in quality measure after quality measure, the hospitals in this group collectively define excellence," U.S. News and World Report said.
