PRINCEVILLE, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Peoria County school district received a grant to purchase new computers.
Goldrush Apple Wind awarded $20,260 through a new community grant program to Princeville Community Unified School District 326, said Apex Clean Energy spokesperson Angie Hummels.
Hummels said the grant will fund the purchase of 30 new Dell Optiplex desktop computers for the Princeville High School STEM Lab. She said this investment will directly benefit students enrolled in technology and business classes, giving them access to modern tools.
