AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A Georgetown police officer was put on administrative leave after the department received a complaint alleging he engaged in "sexual activity" with a woman during a call for help, according to a news release from the city of Georgetown.

Dylan Wright was arrested Thursday and charged with a third-degree felony offense of misuse of official information, according to the city.

KXAN is working to find attorney information for Wright. Once that information is received, we will reach out for a statement on the accusations.

According to the city, the incident happened Aug. 1 while Wright was responding to a call "after the victim's boyfriend was arrested for family violence."
