Humidity has increased across mid-Missouri. Many of us now have dew points in the lower 70s leavings us feeling tropical into next week.

Heat index temperatures will continue to rise with the increased humidity too. Many of us will feel between 100 and 105 degrees through the weekend and beginning of next week.

Looking ahead to next week, when many area schools are getting ready for their first day back, temps will be in the lower 90s with very slim rain chances. Most will stay completely dry but we will continue to monitor this rain chance as we head into next week.

This slim rain chance comes with a slight cool-down too. Highs are back in the middle 80s through the end of next week.
