Charlotte’s annual Pride parade returns to uptown this weekend, and organizers expect this year’s festivities to attract more people than the 240,000 who attended in 2024.

This year, the festival will be held at First Ward Park, a new location that coincides with the festival’s 25th anniversary.

Friday, Aug. 15, 9:30 a.m. (Event Set-Up) • 8th St. will close at 9:30 a.m. to vehicular traffic between the light rail & N. Caldwell St. • N. Brevard St. between 6th and 9th Sts. will close at 9:30 a.m.
