The Michigan State women's basketball program has added a fourth transfer to its roster for the 2025-26 season.

The program announced on Aug. 15 the addition of Sara Sambolic, who is a 5-foot-7 point guard from Slovenia. Sambolic joins the Spartans after attending the University of Ljubljana the last two seasons. Sambolic has also been part of the Slovenia senior national team and played in FIBA Eurobasket.

"We are really excited about Sara joining our program," MSU coach Robyn Fralick said in a released statement. "She has competed at a very high level with her national team and will bring lots of experience and maturity to our team. Her feel for the game and competitive motor will be great additions."
