BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The Bolton State Office Building in Biloxi closed on Friday so experts can determine the extent of a mold problem.

The building on Bayview Avenue houses several state agencies, including the Department of Marine Resources (DMR), the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), the Department of Revenue (DOR), the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), and the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

All workers were ordered to leave the building by noon on Friday.

An official with the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), which oversees state buildings, said some staff will work remotely, while others will be relocated to other office space.
