AVON — Avon recently hosted its River Hawk Summer Hoops Camp with girls from third grade through eighth grade participating. The junior varsity and varsity girls basketball teams helped as coaches for the camp.

"Athletes grew in both the mental side as well as the skill side of basketball," Avon girls basketball head coach Kevin Greenway said. "They all pushed each other to continue to grow as athletes. A great time was had by all and the future of Avon girls basketball is bright!"
