A teenager wanted in connection with a shooting in Washington County in late July has been making threats against members of a high school football team, police said.
Washington High School football players returned to their home field this week after previously practicing at an undisclosed location, according to WPXI.
“We just felt we had to err on the side of caution to keep our kids safe,” Washington School District Superintendent George Lammay said to the news outlet.
The 16-year-old teen is wanted in connection with a shooting that happened on July 29 in the city of Washington. The victim, a man, was hospitalized at the time. His condition is currently unknown.
