NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s indictment on Aug. 15, marks the first time in the city’s history that a sitting mayor has faced criminal prosecution.

The case follows more than two years of investigations, controversies, and related indictments.
