SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4) - Happy Friday, Utah! Temperatures drop a few degrees today, putting us right around seasonal norms.
Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90s for most valleys, mid to upper 80s for valleys at higher elevations, and upper 90s for the hot spots, but Washington County could squeeze out another triple-digit day.
Yesterday brought the first rain to many of us for the first time since the Fourth of July, not a ton, but we're happy to get anything! More wet weather is in store for some us today. Areas east of I-15 will be favored with scattered thunderstorms in the forecast, but the West Desert and Wasatch Front will still isolated thunderstorms toward the late afternoon and evening hours.
Some storms will lack precipitation but still bring lightning and gusty outflow
