Stratford architect Robert Ritz says preserving the full Grand Trunk building would deliver a fivefold return on investment and better honour the city’s heritage.
Following Stratford council’s decision last month to keep only the middle section of the Grand Trunk building, a well-known local architect is calling on the city to go further and preserve the entire structure.
The building, says Stratford architect Robert Ritz, has more long-term value if it remains fully intact than partially torn down.
