The cash-strapped Thames Valley District school board is hiring unqualified teachers for supply positions instead of retired teachers who have more experience and skills.
The school board posted online that “applications will be accepted from first- and second-year faculty of education students.”

The board said it is seeking “caring and compassionate uncertified occasional teachers to commence work immediately.”
