Dillon Heywood, who has a history of assaulting police officers, didn’t put up a fight with police when they arrested him that day.

“He co-operated for the first time in years with the police and that really is a significant move forward,” his lawyer Terry Brandon told a judge at Heywood’s sentencing hearing.
