With one in 50 Canadian children diagnosed with autism, Autism Ontario’s Stratford walk and picnic is back this summer to raise funds for programs that support autistic people and their families.
Set for Sept. 14, the 17th annual event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upper Queen’s Park Pavilion. Proceeds will go to programming in the organization’s West Region, which includes Perth, Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin, Essex, Lambton, Huron, Grey and Bruce counties, and Chatham-Kent.
