A man who created a level of havoc on a Breeze Airways flight that made an unscheduled touchdown in Grand Junction will face federal criminal charges.
The skateboard-wielding man, who was reportedly intoxicated and had to be restrained twice — both times he was able to break free — has been identified as 47-year-old David Leroy Carver Jr..
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announced on Friday that Carver has been charged with interfering with flight crew members and attendants on the Breeze flight that departed from Norfolk, Virginia and was headed to Los Angeles when it was forced to be diverted to the Grand Junction regional Airport on Wednesday because of the incident created by Carver.
