BOONE COUNTY, Ark. — Officials said a four-wheeler collision with a deer killed a Boone County man on the evening of Aug. 13.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department responded at approximately 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Tar Kiln Road and Twin Fork Drive, where deputies found 34-year-old Cody Spence dead at the scene, officials said.

Chief Deputy Roberson confirmed the investigation indicates the vehicle struck a deer, resulting in fatal injuries, and extended condolences to the family.
