Champion Chevrolet and the Reno Gazette Journal are teaming up to recognize even more high school athletes this year.

For our third season of Champion Chevrolet Athlete of the Week, we'll be conducting weekly polls for both boys and girls during the school year.

Coaches, parents and guardians can nominate their favorite players by submitting the statistics and date of their performance to sports@rgj.com . Each week's winners will receive a $100 gift card to Scheels, courtesy of Champion Chevrolet.
