COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - An all-inclusive baseball field is coming to Maury County.

The Miracle League of Columbia at Maury County Park announced they have partnered with Maury County Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Columbia to develop the field.

The $2.6 million project was approved by the Maury County Commission on July 21.

Miracle League, a nonprofit that builds and operates fully accessible, custom baseball fields for children and adults with disabilities, said the new Maury County field will be built on the former Babe Ruth Field.

The facility will be maintained by the Maury County Parks Department, while Miracle League manages the league operations.
