Patry Inc. Development has unveiled a new initiative to help tenants and their families turn monthly rent into a path to homeownership.

On Aug. 14, Patry Inc. formally announced the “Keys in Hand” program in the courtyard of their property at 2274 Princess Street. The program allows current tenants to receive a retroactive credit equal to 25 per cent of the rent they’ve paid since moving in, along with a 50 per cent credit on future rent. The credit would go towards a down payment for a future Patry affiliated home, town home, or condominium in the Kingston area—with seven options for residents to choose from. The credit can also be transferred to the immediate family members of the tenant.
