Another Kingston lawyer has been made a judge.
Joseph Dart — a partner at Bergeron Clifford LLP who has been managing medical malpractice, motor vehicle and insurance-related cases since joining in 2015 — is one of seven judges appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice last week.

Before working at Bergeron Clifford, Dart worked as an associate lawyer and partner at Viner Kennedy LLP (now Viner, Kennedy, Frederick, Allan nd Tobias LLP). There, he focused on employment law, family law, criminal law and property litigation.
A 2005 graduate of Queen’s University’s law school, Dart became a federal Crown attorney for the Public Prosecution of Canada in 2013 and continues in that role.
