KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs will miss multiple weeks with a foot injury, per WVLT Sports media partner Brent Hubbs of Volquest.

A former five-star recruit, Hobbs has seen action in 23 games during his first two seasons at Tennessee and is expected to take on an increased role in 2025 as he battles for a starting spot on the Volunteer defensive line.

The North Carolina native did not participate in Tennessee’s second scrimmage of the fall on Aug. 15.

Last season, Hobbs made 20 tackles, including his first career sack as a sophomore. As a freshman, he made 14 stops.

Hobbs was the No. 4 defensive tackle prospect and a top-40 recruit overall in the high school class of 2023.
