(KBTX) - The Texas A&M men’s basketball team added Southern Illinois guard Ali Dibba, the program confirmed with KBTX Friday.
With the late transfer additions of Dibba and Kansas guard Noah Shelby in August, the Aggies have reached the 15-player roster limit mandated by the settlement for the House v. NCAA antitrust case.
In one season with Southern Illinois, Dibba averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and two assists per game in 34 minutes per game. He spent the previous two seasons with Abilene Christian, where he averaged 12.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and an assist per game. He started his career with a season at Chicago State in 2021-22.
Dibba played in Reed Arena in November of 2022 with the Wildcats, when he netted six points and four rebounds in a 77-58 loss to the Aggies.
