CLINTON, Mo. (KCTV) - The woman accused of her husband’s murder could receive the death penalty after she claimed she did so to prevent just that.
Henry County, Missouri, Circuit Court documents have revealed that Angelika Couch, 74, of Clinton, claimed to have shot her husband before he could do the same to her.
A probable cause statement filed by the Clinton Police Department revealed that just before 6:35 a.m. on Aug. 13, law enforcement officials were called to the Couchs’ home after Angelika called 911 herself.
