MARSHALL, Texas (KSLA) - Two people are in custody after an armed robbery in Marshall.
The Marshall Police Department says a juvenile suspect was arrested in the case Aug. 14. That arrest also led police to recover stolen property from several other recent burglaries, officials say. During the search for this suspect, officers say they also caught someone in connection with an unrelated case.
This all started when a Marshall PD officer noticed a car sitting in the middle of the road in the 1500 block of W Grand Avenue. The driver told the officer she had just been robbed at gunpoint in a store’s parking lot while meeting someone she thought was interested in buying a pair of shoes she was selling on Facebook Marketplace. The victim was able to give the officer a picture of the suspect.
