SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a shooting that happened on August 12 in the 2600 block of Wagner Avenue.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit arrested Jamelvion “JoJo” Lewis for his role in the incident. Lewis was identified as one of the suspected shooters and has been charged accordingly.

The investigation remains ongoing, and detectives are now searching for another suspect believed to be involved. Michael Pennington, 19, is wanted for one count of attempted second-degree murder.

During the incident, a residence was struck multiple times by gunfire. No one inside sustained serious injuries.
