BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - AT LEAST ONE MORE HEAT ADVISORY

Today could be our last Heat Advisory for several days. That’s because we are awaiting yet another weather pattern change. Highs today will reach the mid 90°s in many locations with feels like temperatures peaking at or near 108° for a few hours. Make sure to take heat related precautions today if you plan to have extended outdoor plans.

RAIN CHANCES INCREASE

Rain will be in the likely category beginning Thursday and continuing Friday. This will be in response to a building trough (dip in jet stream) that will eventually bring a frontal boundary down towards the area by the beginning of next week.

Tomorrow’s storms will be a bit delayed into the late afternoon which means it will still be a rather hot day especially early. Rain
