BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Good rain chances will continue for at least a couple more days before some drier air begins to filter in by the weekend.

THURSDAY FORECAST

Spotty showers in the morning will give way to scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 90s for many before storms develop.

AUGUST COOL FRONT?

We’ll have a close eye on a ‘cool’ front approaching from the north into the weekend. It’s unlikely to have any significant impact on our temperatures but it should usher in drier, less humid air for a good chunk of our viewing area from the weekend into early next week.
