WINDHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — It’s an action-packed week in Windham for a group of local campers. From soccer to basketball campers in Windham are spending the week trying physical activities at the Adaptive Sports Foundation’s Multi-Sport Camp. Tony Vasile, Project Director tells us how the program is helping them build skills and also learn who they are as a person.

“Physical activity and sports in general, I think is how a lot of people find their identity. So, like myself, you know, when I was a kid, I started snowboarding and from that point on, I was a snowboarder everywhere I went,” said Vasile.

The camp provides adaptive sports and recreation programs to empower people with disabilities.
