John Bolton Warns Trump-Putin Summit Will Compromise Military Secrets: ‘This Whole Base Is Now Available to Them’

Former national security adviser John Bolton warned that the location of the summit between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin may compromise military secrets because “this whole base is now available to [the Russians]” on CNN Friday.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper noted that Bolton was “surprised that [Trump and Putin] were having this kind of a photo-op with these aircraft,” referencing the moment the two leaders met on the tarmac at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, flanked by fighter jets.
