The grand opening of a new discount store in Swatara Township has been delayed.

Half Off Outlet, a 13,000-square-foot warehouse at 435 Amity Road, was originally planning to open on Saturday (Aug. 16).

But, owner Max Kalonov told PennLive that the opening has been postponed due to delays with final inspections and permits.

No opening date has been set yet.

Once it opens, the store will sell thousands of discounted items, from toys and makeup to patio furniture and tools. The inventory will mostly be sourced from overstocks and returns from large retailers like Target, Home Depot, Costco, and Walmart.

Along with retail sales, Half Off will operate as a wholesaler to members who will be able to purchase lots to sell on their own.
