DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) — Emergency personnel are responding to a train derailment in Dodge County in rural Lowell.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office confirms a Canadian Pacific Train derailed between Maiden Lane Road and the Village of Reeseville, in the town of Lowell.

The train had 95 total cars, and more than 30 of them derailed, the CLR Fire Department Chief updated during a news conference Friday afternoon. The train was reportedly carrying crude oil, some of which may have leaked out.

The sheriff's office says there doesn't seem to be any immediate danger to the public, and there were no injuries reported, including to the crew of the train.
