STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pete Davidson is hoping his career story will one day mirror one of Hollywood’s most famous comebacks.
During an appearance Wednesday on “ The Breakfast Club ” radio show, the Staten Island native was asked: “If people look back on your career in 20 years, what do you hope they say about who you were as an artist and person?”
Davidson, 31, pointed to Robert Downey Jr. as the kind of arc he’d like to emulate, not in terms of fame or career trajectory, but in the way the “Iron Man” star completely transformed his public image after years of personal struggles.
