MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — From new connections to major infrastructure upgrades, the Muskegon County Airport is making big changes to better serve travelers.
“This is one of the older airports in West Michigan. It was laid down in 1929 and really started with passenger service after World War Two, became an FAA-certified passenger commercial service airport in 1973 and we've had commercial air service ever since here in Muskegon,” said Muskegon County Airport Director Ken Efting.
Today, that history is meeting major updates, including a $21 million airfield construction project.
