Grocery prices continue to rise, leaving Erie residents feeling the financial strain as they try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Shoppers like Gina Ruffa have turned to stores like Aldi, where she believes she can purchase about 80% of her groceries organically at an affordable price.

"Prices keep escalating," said Gina Ruffa, a local shopper.

Ginelle Ruffa, another shopper, noted that inflation has caused a general increase in prices, not just for food. "Hopefully people's pay and salary will increase to help support that," she said.

Gianna Ruffa mentioned that due to rising costs, she has started eating out less and cooking more at home. "Good luck out there, it's rough," she added.
