The Justice for Chello Movement held a protest at the corner of State and 10th Streets in Erie on Friday night, demanding transparency in the investigation of Marchello Woodard's shooting death.

The protest coincided with the CelebrateErie event, attracting attention from both locals and visitors. The movement, dissatisfied with the handling of the investigation, used the opportunity to raise awareness and call for accountability from city leaders.

"We chose Celebrate Erie because we call it 'Chellobrate'. This is our time for us to celebrate and get the rest of the counties to understand...states to understand," said Michael Woodard, Marchello's cousin. "We have not heard any answers from anyone."
