By his own admission, Greg Brown was green when he arrived in Buffalo broadcasting circles in 1989. But after a five-year run with the Bisons during the glory days of Pilot Field and three trips to the Super Bowl with the Bills, he was ready for the big leagues.

Brown has since become a legend in Pittsburgh, a voice of the Pirates for 32 years. After two more seasons, no one in the history of the club will have called more games. Pretty big accomplishment when you have iconic names like Bob Prince and Lanny Frattare who have sat in that chair.

The Bisons will induct Brown into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame on Saturday night at Sahlen Field, and Brown said he is amazed at the tribute.
