The Chester Area School Board moved forward on an updated policy regarding physical restraint of students and heard concerns about its middle school football program at a regular Aug. 11 meeting.

The board also postponed the final approval of its approximately $8.15 million budget, an increase from slightly more than $8 million last year, to its regular September meeting. Business Manager Ty Hoglund said the postponement would allow numbers regarding taxes and salaries to be finalized. ×
