SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff's Office announced on Friday that the memorial service for Sergeant Ken Salas will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 1 p.m.
The service will take place at the Spokane Convention Center and will be open to the public.
There will be a memorial service procession in addition to the ceremony. The department said it will announce the route for the procession in the coming days.

All donations will be used to help with the cost of the memorial service to honor Sergeant Salas and his family. Additional funds will go directly to Sergeant Salas’ family.
